Minutes of the first two board meetings now online

In the name of transparency, the minutes of EYP Finland board meetings are public. They provide the most up-to-date information about what is being planned.

The first meeting was mostly spent on getting the year started. Different tasks were divided to the members of the board, and some general principles on its functions were outlined.

In the second meeting, there were more issues on the agenda. For example, the board discussed the upcoming Finnish sessions. Regional Sessions will again be part of the Your European Citizenship campaign that is going to be continued this year. The project will also include visits to high schools.

A new issue was raised regarding the brand of EYP Finland. The board is planning to give certain guidelines about how to present EYP Finland to potential partners and how to protect the public image in general.

The board also discussed several alumni events that are going to be held this year, including an improved summer event and a more festive Annual Ball. Furthermore, each regional committee is going to get a small sum of money to organise more ambitious EYP events in their areas.
