Travel Information
We recommend arriving in Turku by 16.00 EEST on 19.7.2025 (12 EEST 18.7.2025 for Officials). You can travel by plane, train, bus, or ferry — more information about options and how to get to the city can be found here.
Participant Support
Your wellbeing matters. Whether you have questions before the session or need support during it, our Participant Support Team and Event Safe Team is here for you. Learn more about what support is available and who to contact at the bottom of this page.
Venues
Turku IS 2025 will take place in the heart of Finland’s oldest city, combining historic charm with modern accessibility. All our venues are located within or near the city centre, making it easy for participants to move between accommodation, programme spaces, and cultural events.

Event Safe Team
Safety and welfare of all the participants is central for the team behind Turku IS 2025. We aim to take into account different needs to our best abilities, and there is a trained Safe Team who serve as confidants for the participants before, during, and after the session. They can be contacted in terms of any issues that require confidence or have to do with welfare or safety issues during the session.
